ALESSANDRO SCACCHIA is our ARTIST OF THE MONTH. We’d like to tell you more about him, in order to make a simple curiosity a real information about his ART works.

Interview:

. How do you create your ART pieces?
As illustrator I need time to draw models or things at any place, so I often prefer to take photos and then draw everything calmly in my studio.
. Do you prefer to shoot with film or digital?
Digital is comfier, film always has a unique charm.
. How did you get interested in art/comics?
I’m simply interested in anything able to shock me and change my life. Some comics and some artists did it when I was an innocent nerd teenager.
. How did you become interested in fetish/BDSM?
That comes from childhood, and I was probably influenced by lots of erotic comics and movies that stimulated my fantasy. I’ve always been curious
about mind behavior, my job also helped.
. Do you enjoy fetishism/BDSM play in your personal life, and if so what are you into?
I proudly do. I’m a total switch, I like to experiment with my partner any kind of game.
. What do you have planned for the future?
I’m currently working on my latest erotic graphic novel “Mona Agent X”, which will be coming out in France by this year (and I hope soon in States as well!).

. Do you think pinup and fetish are becoming part of the mainstream culture?
Maybe, who knows? Everything is cyclical.
. What do you like to do for fun?
Collect statues and dolls of comics/anime characters.
